Kyle Ferenc Receives CSI Chicago President’s Award

The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Chicago Chapter President’s Award is presented to a chapter member who has rendered distinguished service to the chapter and was instrumental in advancement of the chapter’s mission, activities, and/or administration. Kyle Ferenc, CSI, of ATAS International, Inc. received the award at the chapter’s award program on May 30th.

Ferenc is the product representative for Wisconsin and northern Illinois.  He has been with ATAS for four years and has been in the architectural building materials industry for 17 years.  Ferenc has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Iowa, and a certification in metal roof installation from the Metal Construction Association (MCA).

He recently became a vice president for the CSI Chicago chapter, and earlier this year, was the chairperson for their annual CSi2eye event. This is a premier one-on-one technical education event, which connects Chicagoland design and construction professionals with industry leading building product manufacturers

In March of this year, Ferenc, and Cathy Parrino, his inside technical sales support person at the time, were the 2023 recipients of the Malan S. Parker Award, which recognizes the top ATAS sales professionals each year. They were chosen as the winners for their teamwork in overall sales growth and observance of corporate goals and objectives.

Pat Starr, former Midwest District Sales Manager for ATAS (and now the Mid-Atlantic District Sales Manager), said “It’s wonderful to hear Kyle Ferenc being recognized with this CSI Chicago President’s Award. It’s nice to see others recognizing his dedicated work ethic too.  Kyle is truly someone I hold in high regard and use as the standard bar for new ATAS hires.”
